With the right approach, you can avoid the usual stresses and focus on making memories instead.

Choose the Right Campervan for Your Family
When heading off on your travels, it’s important that you pick a campervan that actually fits your needs as a family. Take into consideration factors such as space, the sleeping setup, and basic amenities like a hob or toilet. Naturally, larger families will need more space, so consider vans that have fold-away or pull-out beds, which can be stored away during the day and open up the living space.

You will also find that some sites don’t allow campervans or motorhomes, whereas some cater specifically to them. Double check before you book that your van will be allowed on site and that the pitches are big enough and suitable.
Pack Smart Without Overloading the Van
As space will be limited, you physically cannot pack everything! Make a list for each member of the family and stick to it. As the UK weather can be unpredictable, think light layers so you can easily add or remove clothing if needed.
Pack simple meal options, including pasta or rice-based dishes, that can easily be cooked in the kitchenette or on a portable stove. Take some form of entertainment too for the evenings. Classic board games are always a hit with the whole family.
