Goo Jit Zu DC and Marvel Toy Review

If you haven’t heard of Goo Jit Zu, where have you been? It’s all my children, twin girls who are nine years old have talked about ever since they first saw them advertised on TV.
We were sent the Goo Jit Zu Heroes Superman, The Flash, Batman and The Joker.
Each character is bright and colourful. Some of them even have some surprising features!
The DC Batman vs Joker pack is £24.99. Batman is described as ‘super squishy’ and Joker as ‘super goopy’.
Batman is £12.99 and is ready to fight crime as he responds to Gotham City’s call for help. You can stretch and squeeze his squishy body that’s filled with bats as he protects the people of Gotham City in a way never seen before.
Then there’s the Joker who is also £12.99.
A criminal mastermind, The Joker creates chaos throughout Gotham City. Squish and squeeze The Joker to see his goo filled body stretch and swirl inside!
DC Superman is also £12.99 and is described as being ‘super stretchy’ with the packaging saying that he can stretch three times it’s size.
Superman is colourful and definitely resembles his on screen appearance.
He is also definitely very stretchy!
Like Superman, Flash is also £12.99 and is described as ‘super gooey’.
With his super human speed The Flash is the fastest man alive.
You can squeeze his body to his lightning bolt filling. Stretch and squish him to fit crime and protect the city!
Final Thoughts
If I’m being 100% honest, I think £24.99 is quite expensive for the DC Batman and Joker pack. In addition, I also think £12.99 for the individual characters is also expensive. I know you’re paying for the brand names of DC and Marvel, but the toys themselves don’t actually do anything special and my girls haven’t actually played with them, aside from 5 or 10 minutes on the day they arrived. Since then, they’ve been sat on a shelf forgotten about. I think if you’re child is big on super heroes, in particular DC and Marvel then they may get more play out of them. With that being said, the toys themselves are well made, colourful and definitely pass the stretch and squeeze test!
