Ariel, the little mermaid is the princess of the sea who has captured the heart of every child who has seen the movie. Our twins are four years old and they absolutely love Ariel. Well, M, loves Ariel and R loves Prince Eric! They have the dolls already, but when I was asked to review the Colours of the Sea Ariel I just had to say yes!
Unlike other dolls, this one can join your little ones in the bath for some bath time fun!
With 14 magical phrases including the song ‘Part of Your World’ from the movie, Colours of the Sea Ariel is a truly enchanting doll. She doesn’t come alone though! You’ll also find flounder inside in the box and he can join in the bath time fun too as he’s a squirty bath toy!
To listen to Ariel talk, all children need to do is press the purple shell on her necklace. Ariel’s tail also lights up! With her big eyes, bright red hair and super cute smile it’s not hard to see why this toy is so loved by children. Her tail is pretty wide too which is great as it means she can stand on her own.
When you place Ariel into the bath, her tail automatically lights up and Ariel starts to talk.
M was rather taken with the way that Ariels hair looked in the water!
Flounder, the squirty bath toy was really easy for the girls to work. Simply squeeze him under water and then squeeze him out of the water for him to squirt water from his mouth!
After her bath, it made sense for the girls to wrap her up in a fluffy towel and dry her hair!
Ariel also comes with a pretty crown on her head. She even speaks Spanish by simply pressing the button on the back of her neck. Something M enjoys doing whilst trying to repeat the Spanish phrases!
Overall, we love the Colours of the Sea Ariel doll. She comes with 3 x AAA batteries, which is great as it means you won’t have to raid the cupboards on Christmas morning in search of batteries!
The Colours of the Sea Ariel doll is really well made, easy for children to use and great quality! To see her in action simply watch the video below.
For the purpose of this review we received one Colours of the Sea Ariel doll. All views and opinions are 100% my own.

The fact she is designed for the bath is pretty awesome. The gremlin always wants to take her babies in the bath and we have to say no to some! Great review and may have a look for the Christmas list xx Thanks for hosting x

This looks cool. It’s great it can go in the bath and that the tail lights up. I’m sure our youngest would be fascinated by it.

My little one is coming up to 2 years old now and she is starting to discover all things Disney Princess. She loves Little Mermaid, though she calls her ‘Oh Feet’. It looks such a lovely little toy and my little one is a massive lover of the bath so I think this is definitely on the christmas list. Thanks for the great review #thatfridaylinky
