Bunchems Mega Pack and Under the Sea Pack Review

My girls love arts and crafts. They love making things, but quite often I don’t want to end up cleaning up the mess afterwards. Thankfully, we’ve discovered Bunchems.

Bunchems are colourful little balls that stick to each other meaning that children can use them to build various creations. I was recently sent the Bunchems Mega Pack and the Under the Sea pack to review.

The mega pack lets you build 36 amazing 3D creations including: owls, bears, octopi, cars, monkeys and more. You won’t be able to build all of these at the same time as you’ll run out of bunchems, but you can make a few at a time.

Inside the box you’ll find the Bunchems, as well as accessories such as ‘eyes, mouths, arms, legs, hats’ etc which can be inserted into the Bunchems to make super cool creatures.

You’ll also find an instruction leaflet which gives step by step instructions on how to build various things.

Both of the packs that we were sent are designed for children aged four and over. For this reason I think the instructions could have been simplified a bit more, but with some adult help, children can easily make all of the creations.

To start with R and M decided to go ‘freestyle’ and make their own creations. The girls found it easy to stick the Bunchems together and also to pull them apart. One end of each Bunchem has a hole in so that the eyes, legs, hats etc can be inserted.

We then moved onto making some of the creations from the instruction leaflet. We started with the tiger. The instructions were easy for me to follow and relate back to the girls so that they could make the tiger themselves.

We then made the monkey, which was R’s favourite, followed by the car.

Overall, I have to say that our girls really enjoyed playing with Bunchems and I would highly recommend them!
