Brilliant Mum Feature Week 76
Hello and welcome to the Brilliant Mum Feature. Once a week I will be featuring one mum in a bid to find out more about them and their lives.
If you’d like to take part in this series, simply fill in this form.

This week our brilliant mum feature is Emily who blogs at Hippie in Lippy. Here’s what she has to say:
I’m Emily, twenty eight and live in Kent.
Said in a common London accent.
A natural redhead with pale white skin,
Untamed wild hair with braids tied in.
Called a hippie because I wear bohemian clothes,
Cruelty-free makeup and a ring through my nose.
The food I eat and products I buy are homegrown or veggie costing as high as the sky.
When i’m not wearing rags and I wash my hair,
I wear a face full of makeup and take lots of care. A early start with prim hairdos,
A fitted dress and high heel shoes.
My nose ring comes out,
my Lippy goes on.
This usually ugly duckling turns into a graceful swan.
Thanks for taking part Emily!

Have you always wanted to be a mum?
Yep! From a tiny little girl.
How did you feel when your children were born?
Drugged up! Lol. I had a awful birth, there was no delivery suites available so I was stalled a little while. I ended up loosing my contractions and having to have a hormone drip. Fast forward 47 hours later I was exhausted as being told it was time to push. I couldn’t.
What have been your most rewarding experiences so far as a mum?
Being the wonder team we are, creating our blog.
What are some of your funniest moments to have happened to you as a mum?
Oh so many! My favourite moment has to be my foster child telling a a young lady on the bus that she has hair above her lip. Mortified!
Have there been any situations with your children that you have found difficult to cope with?
Bringing up a foster child with the same love and affection as your own child.
What are your dreams and hopes for your children?
To simply be happy and healthy.
If you’ve been featured as a brilliant mum and would like to share this badge on your blog, please do!
