Hello and welcome to the Brilliant Mum Feature. Once a week I will be featuring one mum in a bid to find out more about them and their lives.
If you’d like to take part in this series, simply fill in this form.
This week our brilliant mum feature is Chloe who blogs at Life with the Busbys. Chloe is a 28 year old mum of 4, living in London with her husband, Lee. Currently Chloe is a stay at home mum, but she’s a qualified primary school teacher. Her youngest, Darcie, is 3 months old, and Chloe has recently started her own YouTube channel and is loving it! Chloe says she loves days out with the kids, being creative and making things, playing in the garden and having BBQs.
Thanks for taking part Chloe!
Have you always wanted to be a mum?
Yes! I never thought I’d have 4 kids though!
How did you feel when your children were born?
Amazing! I had 4 water births and felt on top of the world. Luckily I had no complications and recovery was very quick, I was home the same day with my last 3 children.
What have been your most rewarding experiences so far as a mum?
Everything, my children make me so proud! Even though I have 4 I’m equally excited when they crawl/walk/get their first teeth etc.
What are some of your funniest moments to have happened to you as a mum?
Funny moments happen every day when you’ve got 4! Recently my 4 year old picked up my soaked breast pad and wiped it on his cheek saying ooh that’s so warm!
Have there been any situations with your children that you have found difficult to cope with?
It’s tricky when they won’t go to bed and are full of beans!
What are your dreams and hopes for your children?
I just hope they turn out to be kind, good people. I hope they will do anything for anyone but at the same time stick up for themselves! I hope they follow their dreams and do whatever they wish! Whatever makes them happy!
