Hello and welcome to the Brilliant Mum Feature. Once a week I will be featuring one mum in a bid to find out more about them and their lives.
If you’d like to take part in this series, simply fill in this form.
This week our brilliant mum feature is Vicki who blogs at Mumma and her Monsters.
Vicki is a mum of two and also has two step children. Vicki is due to be married in September. She works in a shop on her local high street, blogs, and is also a virtual assistant. Vicki also volunteers at her local library too!
Thanks for taking part Vicki!
Have you always wanted to be a mum?
Yes it’s always been my dream I just wish I would have waited a little longer.
How did you feel when your children were born?
I was totally overwhelmed, I was only 21 when my daughter was born and I was scared shitless to be quite honest, with my son I was 25 and so much more prepared both my labours were smooth and really fast so all was good!
What have been your most rewarding experiences so far as a mum?
Just seeing them grow into amazing little characters!
What are some of your funniest moments to have happened to you as a mum?
When my daughter stuck a sanitary towel to her eye (I call them pads) and said “Mum I’m an I-pad!”
Have there been any situations with your children that you have found difficult to cope with?
Most of my daughters life has been a challenge because of her dairy allergy finding things she could eat was a pain but we got there!
What are your dreams and hopes for your children?
Just to be successful that’s all I’ll ever ask for!
If you’ve been featured as a brilliant mum and would like to share this badge on your blog, please do!
