An Elf for Christmas: Week Two
So I finished last weeks update on Saturday when our Elves turned the magic beans that the girls had buried into candy canes.
Unfortunately on that very same Saturday, the girls weren’t very well behaved. Therefore when they awoke Sunday morning they were greeted with the following site.
Both of the elves had cards from Santa which read: “Oh no. Santa knows you have been naughty. He isn’t very pleased. Try being EXTRA helpful today.”
I must admit I have mixed feelings about doing this, but I just couldn’t justify leaving out what I had originally planned to leave out – a gingerbread house kit. I just didn’t feel that the girls deserved it as they were so naught the day before. It would have been like rewarding them for their naughty behaviour and if I did that what would they learn from it?
Although their sad little faces was hard to watch, they soon got over it and were as good as gold all day!
I didn’t want to go overboard with Mondays activity, but I was pleased how well behaved the girls were the previous day so their elves brought them a ‘good listening’ certificate each, along with an Elf picture to colour in.
Tuesday brought with it a bit more fun, as the elves were feeling a bit mischievous! Turns out the elves had tied up some of the girls dolls! They this was hilarious!
Wednesday morning was also a bit mischievous! The girls woke up and found their elves on the table having a snowball fight!
Of course the girls loved it and wanted to join too! Before I knew it they were throwing snowball (marshmallows)!
Later this day, the elves left a gift for our girls for their good behaviour and for doing so well in their Christmas nativity.
Thursday saw the elves invite some of the local dolls for a festive shoe train ride led by Santa!
When the girls came arrived home from school they found a rather impressive bundle under the tree with their elves.
Along with a letter each from Santa, there was also a present wrapped up, along with a magazine and a blanket (review of these coming soon!)
Inside the wrapped present is a super cool Northern Lights Elsa doll! (Review coming soon!)
Friday morning, the girls woke to find the elves reading some of their toys a story!
When the girls finished school, we headed straight to a birthday party, so by the time we got home it was bedtime. The elves were just too tired to stay up and wait so they fell asleep on the sofa!
Finally for this weeks update, when the girls woke up this morning they found that the elves had brought them a gingerbread house kit!
