Sprucing up your own can often be time consuming. However, if, like us, you rent then you may not want to spend money on a house you don’t own in order to give a room a new look. Having said that, there are plenty of different ways that you can give a room a new look without having to get the paint out.
Wall art is a great way to change the look of a room. Wall art is quite often overlooked as most people’s first thoughts turn to wallpaper or paint. I’ve teamed up with Desenio to share with you the range of products they have on offer.

They even have a gallery wall tool which can help you choose art that goes well together.
Desenio kindly let me chose some wall art from their website to review. The first piece I had in mind was something that would stand out. Something scenic and something that would make me notice something different about it every time I looked at it. I also wanted something that, when I look at it would make my mind wander into the art.
Meadow in Dawn
When browsing their website I chose the ‘nature prints’ category and quickly came upon this absolutely stunning ‘Meadow in Dawn’ poster. Something about it just instantly captured me.
The photograph is of purple flowers on a meadow in dawn. Pretty nature prints are essential if you want to create a mindful home that’s filled with peace and this is exactly what I’d like to create. When choosing this poster on Desenio’s website I was able to choose what size I wanted and whether or not I wanted a frame for it.
I chose 70cm x 100cm with a beautiful white frame. I really like that Desenio’s website shows you what your art will look like in each frame. On offer was a variety of frames such as black, wooden, silver etc. I thought a simply white frame would look best. The ‘Meadow in Dawn’ poster at 70cm x 100cm is £36.95. The white frame is an extra £37.95.
Gallery Wall
The next three posters I chose using Desenio’s Gallery Wall tool. I wanted something fresh, simple and neutral. I’m a big fan of flowers so my first thought turned to flowers.
The first poster I chose is this ‘Still Life White Flowers’ poster. I chose the size 50cm x 70cm for all three of these style posters. The Still Life White Flowers posts in this size is £23.95. I chose a silver frame these prints which was an extra £26.95.
The Still Life White Flowers photograph is of a bundle of white, sprawling flowers against a light grey background. Botanical prints will create a romantic and cosy feel in a room, a perfect style for bedrooms!
The next poster I chose is ‘The Beauty of Flowers’ poster. It’s also £23.95 for the poster and £26.95 for the silver frame – both 50cm x 70cm. The ‘Beauty of Flowers’ photograph is of light beige flowers against a light grey background. It’s a omantic, floral prints that I think is a perfect choice for when decorating a bedroom. Floral prints also make perfect combinations with inspiring quote prints!
The third poster I chose is the ‘Grass in Soft Tones’ poster. Again this is £23.95 for the poster and £26.95 for the silver frame (both 50cm x 70cm). The photograph is of a bundle with small, beige flowers against a light grey background. You can really create a cosy style at home with light nature hues, and bring in a few pieces of nature for a calm feel.
I think all three of these posters work so well together as a feature wall.
Overall I am very pleased with all four of the prints I received. Ordering them from the Desenio website was very easy and I received email updates about when they would be delivered. I think the pricing for both the posters and frames is great value for money. The posters and frames are really good quality. I would definitely order from Desenio again.
