The last time we went on an aeroplane was way back in 2018. Four whole years ago. It seems like such a long time ago. The interesting thing about this is that I don’t actually miss holidaying abroad.
For as long as I can remember I’ve enjoyed holidays abroad. When I was a child, my parents would take us to various countries. Portugal, Lanzarote and Tenerife to name just a few. In 2019, we went on our first camping holiday to Devon. My husband had never been camping before so didn’t really know what to expect. He wasn’t particularly looking forward to it either! However, after three nights of star gazing, cooking outside, long walks in the forest and swimming in a freezing cold lake, he was converted!

Choosing the right caravan
Choosing the right caravan needn’t be complicated. However there are a few things you need to consider such as layout and the number of people it sleeps. The 2022 season sees the launch of the new Alicanto Grande range which includes the Lisbon and the Porto models. Both sleep 4 with the main difference being that the Lisbon is a single axle and the Porto is a twin axle. We think either would be perfect for us.
