6 Jobs That Allow You to Travel

February 6, 2022

Finding the job of your dreams is not always easy. Most of the time you have to study for or actually do your dream job in order to tell if it is indeed a career you see yourself doing for the rest of your life or not.

In case you are in the process of finding a new dream job, I have six great jobs that you should consider. What makes those 6 career paths so great? They allow you to travel either because travelling is part of the job or because you can work remotely. Shall we see what they are?

1. Teaching English

It is common for native English speakers or English teachers to apply for an English teaching job at a school in a foreign country. This way not only do they get to travel, explore and get to know the locals in a new place but also they get paid and get valuable work experience.

2. Cabin Crew

Do you like the idea of flying from one city to another? Are you a friendly person who is happy to help people and make them feel comfortable? Then, you should consider working as a flight attendant. You don’t need to worry about university degrees or previous experience because airlines usually train people who believe that they have what it takes to do this job.

3. Voice-over

Actors and singers are perfect for doing voice-overs or narrations for TV or radio advertisements, animation films or video games because they know how to manipulate the tone and pitch of their voice so that they produce a variety of emotions to their listeners. Professionals in those fields or people who have experience in such tasks should register at an online voice-over agency like Voquent as they can receive job offers for voice-overs which they can complete online, from the comfort of their home – or while roaming the world.

4. Content Creation

Becoming a famous content creator, or an influencer, is the new dream job. It doesn’t come as a surprise as it is pretty easy to just turn on the camera of your phone and start talking about or doing things that you are passionate about. And if you do this long enough, you’ll gain more and more followers. Of course, creating content online, usually videos and photos, comes with its own challenges, but it is a creative job that has to do with your passions and you can do it even while you travel around the world.

5. Photo or Video Editing

People with advanced editing skills have become popular since they can help content creators to produce high-quality content. Going through all the footage, cutting and merging scenes, improving the quality of photos and adding text and special effects is a time-consuming process that editors are more than glad to help with. It is common for editors not to be in the same city or country as their employer as they can communicate and share files online.

6. Virtual Assistance

One last job that can be done completely online is providing virtual assistance to freelancers and small businesses. In a nutshell, virtual assistants complete easy tasks, like responding to emails or booking tickets, that save time and energy from their employers so that they can focus on more crucial tasks.
