Vileda 100°C Hot Spray Mop
I moved house a little over two months ago into a lovely dorma-bungalow. It has a lovely tiled kitchen floor and a laminate floor conservatory.
The flooring in the conservatory is the type to attract dust and show up dirt at the first sign of it. I didn’t want a traditional mop because I wanted something that was easy to store and quick and easy to use.
Vileda recently sent me their 100°C Hot Spray Mop to review.
The Vileda 100°C Hot Spray Mop is an alternative to a steam mop.
It’s easy to set up and even easier to use.
When taking the mop out of the box you simply place the handle onto the lower part of the mop and it clicks together.
Then you need to place the microfibre pad onto the bottom of the mop. It attaches with Velcro so it’s easy to remove for cleaning. The microfibre pad removes 99.9% of bacteria.
I forgot to take a picture of the pad before I used it hence the slight brown colour to it!
All you need to do to get started is fill up the water tank, plug in the cord and then press the yellow button on the back of the mop.
The red light on the front of the mop will flash and then stay static before turning green after around 90 seconds to indicate that it’s ready to use.
Press the trigger to release a hot spray on to the microfibre pad and then start cleaning! The water stays hot for up to 90 minutes.
Two of the main reasons why I love the Vileda 100°C Hot Spray Mop is the fact that’s cordless and has a swivel head which ensures easy maneuvering. This means it’s easy to clean under tables, around furniture and up close to units.
It’s lightweight which means it can be carried up and downstairs easily.
The mop is easy to use and very efficient at cleaning all types of stains such as food and mud.
