My husband and I are always looking for new ways to redecorate our house quickly and easily. As we’re renting, we don’t want to spend too much money, but at the same time we want a great end result.
That’s why wall murals are a good choice. I’d love to redecorate our living room. We have beautiful grey sofas with colourful buttons on, but the rest of our living room has remained untouched since we moved in over a year ago. While our storage unit and TV stand matches our sofas, the cream coloured walls and green patterned carpet definitely don’t!
That’s why I’d love to have some gorgeous London scenes on the walls. As many of my blog readers know, I’m running the London marathon next year so having a London themed scene on the wall would not only be a great reminder of this, it would also go really well with our grey sofas!
I love the black and white murals, in particular this one of the Millennium Bridge.
I really like the way the bridge extends out towards St Paul’s Cathedral. I also really like the floor in this picture! Much better than our awful green carpet, and again it would go perfectly with our grey sofas!
This wall mural would definitely bring our living room into the 21st century, and make it look more modern and on trend, plus it doesn’t cost a fortune, and is quick and easy to apply.
As mentioned above, wall murals are really easy to apply. You can either use paste and simply paste the wall, not the wallpaper, or go for a self-adhesive fabric which requires no paste or water to hang. You just simply peel and stick.
I’d also really like to redecorate our girls bedroom. At the moment they have plain white walls with some posters from their magazines stuck onto it using sellotape!
Have you ever used a wall mural? I’d love to hear.
