Hello and welcome to the Brilliant Mum Feature. Once a week I will be featuring one mum in a bid to find out more about them and their lives.
If you’d like to take part in this series, simply fill in this form.
This week our brilliant mum feature is Claire who blogs at This Mummy Rocks. Claire is 33 years old, married to her husband, Matthew, for 7 years and she has 5 sons, Cameron 15, Harvey 12, McKenzie 7, Caelan 5 and Cohen 3. Claire is a self employed Ofsted registered childminder. Mathew and Claire live and work together. In her spare time, Claire loves to blog, go for cuppa, go to the cinema, work out and read, but mostly spending time with her family.
Thanks for taking part Claire!
Have you always wanted to be a mum?
How did you feel when your children were born?
I found out what love at first sight was. My heart filled instantly with love. My motherly instinct fell into place straight away. Cameron and Harvey’s births were straight forward and no pain relief used. McKenzie was induced 10 days early and I had an epidural. Caelan’s birth was very fast and Cohens birth was the funniest. I nearly gave birth outside of the hospital.
What have been your most rewarding experiences so far as a mum?
Watch my children grow up into well mannered and independent young men.
What are some of your funniest moments to have happened to you as a mum?
One of the boys decided to use a display toilet in the middle of a bathroom showroom
Have there been any situations with your children that you have found difficult to cope with?
McKenzie and his behaviours and quirks
What are your dreams and hopes for your children?
For them to be happy with themselves. To believe in themselves.
