Hello and welcome to the Brilliant Mum Feature. Once a week I will be featuring one mum in a bid to find out more about them and their lives.
If you’d like to take part in this series, simply fill in this form.
This week our brilliant mum feature is Sarah who blogs at Mummy Cat Notes.
Sarah is 32, lives in Harlow with her husband and 3 children, plus cat. They got married 5 years ago this September. Sarah says she enjoys playing games in her spare time.
Thanks for taking part Sarah!
Have you always wanted to be a mum?
How did you feel when your children were born?
My first birth was a bit traumatic, he got stuck and had to be delivered via forceps, he however was a healthy baby and the second I saw him I knew I wanted to have more children.
What have been your most rewarding experiences so far as a mum?
Just watching them grow and learn every day.
What are some of your funniest moments to have happened to you as a mum?
When my son was about 2 he somehow got himself into the kitchen and managed to get himself a pancake, an apple and a banana and then gave his younger sister who couldn’t open things herself yet an orange which she couldn’t peel, their mini food heists have always made me laugh.
Have there been any situations with your children that you have found difficult to cope with?
Lack of sleep, my third child doesn’t sleep fully at night unlikely the other two, she will wake up on the dot at 11 just as we plan to head to bed and refuse to go back to sleep until she’s with me in our bed, it’s been a challenge that’s for sure.
What are your dreams and hopes for your children?
I just want them to be happy, I want them to grow up and be whoever they want to be as long as they’re happy with it.
