Although summer is quite a while away, there’s no time like the present to start thinking about your family summer holiday. We’ve already booked a holiday to Disneyland Paris and we’re currently looking at destinations for a beach holiday during the summer too. If you have any suggestions please let me know!
Now, if you’re anything like me when you think of planning a holiday that usually means shopping for holiday clothes! The thing is I’ve done so much ‘shopping for holiday clothes’ in my lifetime, that I have a wardrobe full of holiday clothes!
My children, however, are constantly growing so that means I need to start looking at what clothes they’ll need for our holiday. If I’m honest I usually pop into a cheap shop to buy their holiday t-shirts and shorts, but when it comes to their swimwear I like to spend a bit extra to get something that’s both practical and also protects them from the sun.
I prefer to buy the girls swimwear online as it gives me more time to do a bit of research and find something that I think they’ll love, but again something that will also protect them from the sun. Here are my ten favourite girls UV swimwear pieces.
I really like that all of the pieces above have a UPF 50+ (Ultraviolet Protection Factor). My girls are so different in their likes. M loves pink and girly things so the pink swimsuits and shorts would be right up her street. R isn’t so keen on the girly clothes so she would definitely opt for the blue swimsuits, shorts and blue rash vest.
I think the girls anchor swimsuit has to be my favourite! I love the design with the cute pocket and a part of me wishes they did this in an adult size too!
I usually buy the girls hooded towels to wear after they’ve been in the pool or the sea as I find they’re great for warming them back up quickly!
Where do you buy your kids swimwear? Online or in store?
