Boston Chicken House with Run Review

Back in January we introduced a new member to our family. A pet rabbit called Snuggles. Snuggles was around four months old when he joined us, and he’s well and truly settled into our family. Our children adore him, and I must admit so do I! When we first brought Snuggles home, we purchased a cage that was recommended to us by the pet shop. However, within a few weeks it became clear that Snuggles would quickly outgrow it. With this in mind, I did some research and purchased a rabbit hutch. The rabbit hutch is currently indoors as it’s… [Read More]

Meegos Series 1 Collectible Crochet Toys Review

At six years of age, our twin girls have started to gain an interest in collectible toys. This was after a visit to their nanna’s house. In her display cabinet she has whimsie animal figures. I told our girls that when I was little, I used to collect whimsies myself and display them on a shelf in my bedroom. R and M were intrigued and said they’d like to collect something too! This was pretty good timing as we were recently sent some Meegos.  Meegos are collectable cute, cuddly crochet friends! We were sent five in total. Four Mini Meegos… [Read More]

When it comes to toys, our girls have quite a few! This means it takes something pretty magical to impress them. Glimmies are super cute magical creatures that live in Aquaria, an underwater village in Glimmies world! These little marine fairies each have their own unique names. We received Glimsplash, Medusilla and Mareen. Each fairy is super cute to look at. As you can see Glimsplash is pink, Medusilla is green, and… [Read More]

Review: Bargain Toys from PoundToy

Buying gifts for children can be expensive. If your child’s social life is anything like the social life of our six year old twins, then you’ll know exactly what I mean. Not a week goes by where they don’t come out of school with another birthday invitation. Of course, they absolutely love getting dressed up and going to all these wonderful parties, but for mum and dad, it can add up pretty quickly. Some parents I know will buy toys throughout the year in sales and clearances, then stash them all away so that when another party invite arrives, they’re… [Read More]

I’ve surprised myself because I’ve actually managed to write in this book every month and I’m so pleased that I have because it’s been lovely looking back through it, and reading about things that I’d forgotten about. I’ll definitely be doing the same thing in 2018! Until then, I thought I’d share with you my ‘Year in Review’… January I turned 30 years old We made bird feeders I went to spin class and did yoga Had… [Read More]
