Meegos Series 1 Collectible Crochet Toys Review

At six years of age, our twin girls have started to gain an interest in collectible toys.

This was after a visit to their nanna’s house. In her display cabinet she has whimsie animal figures. I told our girls that when I was little, I used to collect whimsies myself and display them on a shelf in my bedroom.

R and M were intrigued and said they’d like to collect something too!

This was pretty good timing as we were recently sent some Meegos.

Meegos are collectable cute, cuddly crochet friends!

We were sent five in total. Four Mini Meegos and one full size Meego. Each of the Mini Meegos are individually blind-boxed so they’re a real surprise to whoever opens them!

Children can find and collect all their favourite characters and take them on an exciting journey through the soft World of Meegotopia!

Meegos aren’t like your usual cuddly toys. They’ve been crocheted and are very high quality. Each Meegos character is handmade in Bangladesh through a workers co-operative and is making a real difference in over 200 villages by bringing sustainable, regular and flexible employment.

What’s great is that they’re suitable for all ages! The larger of the Meegos comes with a tag around it’s neck with it’s name on, and the name of the place where they live. As you can see ours is called Meadow and is related to Daisy and Darwin. Meadow lives in Paw Palace.

Our girls really like these super cute collectables, and I’m sure children will have lots of fun collecting Meegos and matching them with their minis to fill their family tree!

There are 6 different Dogs to find and 12 pups. There are also some Limited Editions to look out for too! Plus children can uncover all their personalities online at mymeegos.com.

The Meegos are 5” with an RRP of £12.99, and the mini Meegos are a super cute 2” with an RRP price of £6.99.

Both Meegos and mini Meegos are suitable for Ages 0+. The highly anticipated range of ultra-cute Dogs and Pups hit shelves in March, and will be followed by series two, featuring wild animals, later this year. Both Meegos and Mini Meegos are available at selected Sainsbury’s and Debenhams stores.

For the purpose of this review were sent the above toys. All views and opinions are 100% my own.
