Doodle Collection Notebook Review & Competition

I absolutely love stationary.

You won’t believe how many unused notebooks I have sitting around my house!

Although they’re currently unused, I know that one day I will get around to filling each and every one of them.

You see I keep a kind of diary, but it’s not like one of those diaries in which I write down what I did today.

In my diary I like to focus on the positive things that happen. I use one page for the week and write down all of the positive things that happened that week. Nothing negative is allowed!

Some of the things I’ve written include the first time that our twin girls did the monkey bars all by themselves to the first 10k that I ran.

Simple things really, but I firmly believe that the simple things in life are the best and as such they should be remembered.

To add to my ever growing collection of notebooks I was recently asked by Doodle Collection if I’d like to pick some notebooks to review. I chose the two pictured below.

My favourite one is the elephant ‘Tusk Tales Diary’. Elephants happen to be one of my favourite animals so when I saw this notebook, I knew I had to have it!

I love how colourful and detailed the front cover is, but I also love the tusk charm hanging down from the ribbon inside the book that can be used to mark your page.

This book also comes with a tusk necklace which is a nice added touch.

Did you know that with shrinking habitats and rapid hunting for ivory, Asian elephants are now endangered. That’s one of the reasons why I love that this book is part of a Doodle Collection Initiative At Doodle Collection.

Aart from creating trendy diaries, they also believe in giving back to society. With this in mind, they’ve envisioned “Exquisite India”, which is their effort to help protect India’s rich wildlife and culture.

This specially crafted, limited edition range of premium diaries has been illustrated by skilled artisans and rendered in a rustic golden glaze. A percentage of the sale proceeds will be sent to various NGO that has been doing commendable work in protecting endangered species.

This hard bound A5 notebook has golden glazed edges which really do make it feel luxurious. It’s also really lightweight meaning you can just pop it into your handbag without worrying about it weighing you down.

It’s made of up 176 pages and is characterized by a UV- finish cover material and premium quality natural shade. The paper is woodfree, perforated paper.

The next notebook I chose to review is this ‘Make em Count’ notebook. Firstly I love the wording on the front cover. I thought it tied in well with my own positive outlook on life.

Not only that, but inside the book is so colourful!

I love that this notebook isn’t just filled with lined paper. It also has colourful pages which have different sections on for you to scribble down thoughts or just doodle in!

There’s also a handy ‘calendar’ style page.

I absolutely love both of these notebooks, and now you can win your own one too!
