Christmas Gift Guide 2017

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

A time for families to get together and celebrate, spend time with one another, eat, drink and be merry! Of course before all of that we need to do some Christmas shopping!

Shopping in general is one of my favourite past times, but there’s something magical about Christmas shopping. Whether you’re making a trip into your local town centre or simply doing some sofa surfing for bargains, my Christmas Gift Guide is full of lots of ideas to inspire you.

Cancer Research UK has launched it’s very own line of Christmas gifts and I’m very happy to share some of them with you in this guide.

Ethically-made baskets from La Basketry

Handwoven in a senegalese village, this beautiful basket is a stylish mix of greyish/silver with white. Sturdy and strong enough to be used as a fruit bowl, bread bin or to store bits and bobs in style. I’ve decided to use mine to keep potpourri in. It’s made from a local grass called ‘ndiorokh’ and long strips of coloured plastic.

Coco Bubble Gifts

Earlier this year we reviewed some wonderful bath bombs and paints from Coco Bubble so I couldn’t write a Christmas Gift Guide without including them!

As part of the Chad Valley Play Panel, I wanted to show you some of the fantastic toys that are available online right now from Argos!
