My Dream Pet with Petplan

We’ve teamed up with Petplan for their exciting new campaign which asks children to put their artistic skills to the test by drawing their dream pet. This could be with wings, eight legs, three heads or it could even glow in the dark! To make this campaign even more magical, their dream pet drawing will then be transformed into an amazing soft toy for them to keep and treasure forever. R decided that her dream pet would have a dogs head, cats body and the tail of a dragon! She was very excited at the idea of this and couldn’t… [Read More]

Boston Chicken House with Run Review

Back in January we introduced a new member to our family. A pet rabbit called Snuggles. Snuggles was around four months old when he joined us, and he’s well and truly settled into our family. Our children adore him, and I must admit so do I! When we first brought Snuggles home, we purchased a cage that was recommended to us by the pet shop. However, within a few weeks it became clear that Snuggles would quickly outgrow it. With this in mind, I did some research and purchased a rabbit hutch. Meegos Series 1 Collectible Crochet Toys Review

At six years of age, our twin girls have started to gain an interest in collectible toys. This was after a visit to their nanna’s house. In her display cabinet she has whimsie animal figures. This was pretty good timing as we were recently sent some Meegos.  Meegos are collectable cute, cuddly crochet friends! We were sent five in total. Four Mini Meegos… [Read More]

The Adventures of Snuggles. Part 1.

This is Snuggles. Yeah, he’s pretty cute, but man has the last month been full of drama for a bunny so young! Snuggles joined us on the 20th of January. One Saturday morning, my husband and I took our twin girls to Pets at Home so they could choose a pet. I should actually say that Snuggles chose us. As soon as our girls walked up to where the rabbits were, Snuggles came right up to them. He was the only rabbit that didn’t run away. In fact he was the only rabbit that came straight up to us. It… [Read More]

The girls first pet

I’ve always been an animal lover. When I was a child, my sister and I had many pets. Hamsters, rabbits, numerous cats and even ducks! Before our girls were born, my husband and I had two kittens. We called them Dragon and Fable. It’s rather strange as their names definitely suited them. Dragon was fierce and would often attack Fable, who was a soft, gentle and cuddly cat. When my husband and I found out that we were pregnant with twins, we made the decision to re-home the cats. It was heartbreaking, but having Two house cats and two babies… [Read More]
