Weight Loss Update Week 2

Today is day 14 and food wise I have continued to maintain a healthy diet and even more impressive my will power is actually stronger than last week! I haven't eaten any junk food now for two weeks and I don't miss it. I thought I would based on the amount of junk food I ate before I started this diet, but I'm so pleased that I have stuck with this diet so far.

My target weight is 9st7 and at my last weigh in 7 days ago I weighed 10st7. I now weigh 10st7. I'm pleased with this as although I haven't lost any weight, I haven't put any on either. It would have been nice to have lost a pound or two, but I'm not disheartened and will continue on my diet. I know what I need to do to help sustain my weight loss and that's to exercise more. 

Week one of this diet was all about cutting out unhealthy food and increasing my fibre intake. Something I have succesfully managed to do. Week two was about starting to incorporate some exercise into my life.

My target was to get in 150 minutes of exercise each week. I haven't been to an exercise class or to the gym, but I have made some important changes and when you add them altogether it does add up to around 150 minutes.

When I go to work instead of taking the lift up to the third floor, I take the stairs and this also goes for the multi-story car park as well. 

I have done some exercise this week. I invested in a kettlebell and managed a grand total of 15/20 minutes! I've also done some dancing with my girls and in addition to this I managed to squeeze in a run around my front room for around 30 minutes and I also went on a long walk with the girls. 

Here is how this week has looked in terms of what I've eaten.

Day 8

Breakfast: 2 slices of wholemeal toast with butter
Lunch: Homemade ham salad sandwich with dressing
Dinner: Baked potato with cheese and beans
Snacks: Apple, leftover birthday cake, yogurt

Total calories consumed: 1,086

Day 9

Breakfast: 2 weetabix with semi-skimmed milk
Lunch: Melted cheese and cherry tomatoes on toast
Dinner: Haddock mornay
Snacks: Apple, yoghurt

Total calories consumed: 978

Day 10

Breakfast: 2 weetabix with semi-skimmed milk
Lunch: Homemade ham salad with dressing and cous cous
Dinner: Chicken stir fry with vegetables and noodles
Snacks: Apple, 2 yogurts

Total calories consumed: 1,300

Day 11

Breakfast: 2 slices of wholemeal toast with butter
Lunch: Homemade ham salad with dressing and cous cous
Dinner: Chicken and gravy pie with veg
Snacks: Apple, 2 yogurts

Total calories consumed: 1,334

Day 12

Breakfast: 2 slices of wholemeal toast with butter
Lunch: Jack daniels grilled chicken meal with veg
Dinner: 
Snacks: Super berry detox mix

Total calories consumed: 823

Today was Twin Daddy and I's second ever baby free day! We went into town shopping and had a nice meal then went to the cinema. I didn't have dinner because lunch filled me up.

Day 13

Breakfast: 2 Weetabix with semi-skinned milk
Lunch: Beans on toast 
Dinner: Fish and chips
Snacks: Yogurt

Total calories consumed: 1,141
